I was selected as the sole participant from Romania to represent the National Students’ Council at a seminar organized by the Council of Europe in partnership with the DYPALL Network at European Youth Centre Strasbourg. Among representatives from 23 European countries, I had the opportunity to examine in depth the role that youth councils play in safeguarding democracy, particularly within states facing unstable geopolitical conditions. We also closely analyzed the cancelled presidential elections in Romania and took part in a study visit to the Council of Europe’s headquarters, which provided a better understanding of European representation mechanisms.
