I founded a youth platform designed to help public school students in Romania without adequate economics preparation to compete in international economics and business competitions. Moreover, I launched two free courses, in economics and in business & finance, taught by university professors and industry experts, attended by over 300 participants. In addition, I organized the country’s first accounting competition for high school students, which drew 137 contestants. I established a network of ambassadors across 17 counties to promote the organization’s resources nationwide. Ultimately, I represented the Romanian Excellence Center in Economics at five national conferences.

I participated with full voting rights in two General Assemblies of the National Council of Students, representing the 397,000 students of the Municipality of Bucharest at the national level and contributing to the election of national representatives. I engaged in discussions with local mayors, the Minister of Education, and the General School Inspector regarding the needs of students in the capital. I conducted a survey on the implementation of the new curriculum frameworks for 2025, which garnered 30,000 responses; I analyzed the results and compiled a comprehensive report for the Ministry of Education to ensure students’ perspectives were addressed. Additionally, I campaigned against cuts to student scholarships, organizing protests in the capital that drew 1,500 participants. I also organized three training sessions and career-oriented events, with a total of over 500 participants. Furthermore, I represented the organization internationally on two occasions at the Council of Europe.

I led 35 students in organizing the first European simulation in Bucharest, which brought together over 215 participants. Furthermore, I secured $15,000 in scholarships from Change The World Model United Nations for the top-performing delegates, enabling them to take part in international competitions. Drawing on my own international experiences, I was pleased to have the opportunity to introduce my peers to the workings of European institutions; through this initiative, they were able to step into the roles of actual Members of the European Parliament and political parties. Finally, I serve as an Advisor to the organizing team for the 2027 conference, where our goal is to scale the event and make it more accessible to as many young people as possible.

AutoVortex National Robotics Team

Lead Programmer

I was a member of the national robotics team for two and a half years, contributing to Romania’s successes on the global robotics stage. During this time, I served as the team’s lead programmer, focusing primarily on the robot’s autonomous programming, and acted as the secondary driver at major competitions. We won three international gold medals and became the first team from Romania ever to qualify for the VEX Robotics World Championship, held in Dallas in 2024. Furthermore, we received multiple awards at various ceremonies for technological innovation and youth achievement.

Conference Manager

I organized two Model United Nations conferences, involving over 500 participants in total. These events aimed to educate young people about the functioning of international institutions through formal simulations in which they represented the delegations of member states. As Conference Manager, I coordinated a team of 50 volunteers, secured $7,500 in sponsorships, and facilitated the
attendance of two Vice-Presidents of the European Parliament at the opening ceremonies. The events resulted in a generation of young people who are much better informed about the decision-making processes within the United Nations.

Treasurer & Member – Volunteering Club

I have been an active member of the club for over 3 years, during which time I helped raise more than $10,000 for social causes through 35 charitable events. As treasurer, I managed a budget of approximately $5,000 and oversaw all of the club’s financial transactions. Furthermore, I coordinated our fundraising strategy, led humanitarian campaigns, and ensured that the funds were directed toward the specific needs of the individuals we were supporting. Finally, I served as a coordinator for the 2024 Autumn District Conference in Bucharest, an event that brought together over 850 young people.

As president, I coordinated the organization of 21 conferences, each with an average of 70 attendees, featuring guest speakers such as financial experts and successful entrepreneurs. I took over the club when it had only 8 active members and grew it to 106 members in just 30 days, making it the largest club in the high school. During this period, I connected students with prominent figures from the business world, helping them gain a clearer understanding of the entrepreneurial landscape and providing a space where they could ask questions and find the answers they were seeking. Furthermore, I serve as an Advisor to the leadership team for the 2026–2027 term, with the goal of guiding them to maintain the club’s high level of performance and to establish its reputation throughout the capital.

I launched and produced five episodes of Romania’s first themed podcast, which spotlights successful young people and their pursuits. From young people accepted into the world’s top universities to 17-year-old entrepreneurs running an international marketing firm, my goal was to inspire the younger generation to believe in their passions and work hard to achieve their goals. In total, the project reached over 15,000 viewers across all platforms, gaining recognition throughout the capital.

I organized the first European diplomacy event in my hometown, with over 65 participants. The initiative aimed to create a new opportunity for young people interested in debate who had not previously had the chance to engage in such events; in doing so, I established a qualification pathway for regional and national competitions, in which students from Deva participated for the first time.

I co-founded an informal group focused on developing Erasmus+ projects for high school students, as their opportunities in this area are often limited and dependent on school policies. I assembled a team of 20 volunteers from various cities and organized specialized training sessions to support them in writing project proposals. Furthermore, I launched a fundraising campaign and contributed over $3,000 toward the renovation of a train station in the country.
