Honourable Mention
I received these distinctions among more than 4,900 research projects carried out by students from all over the world. In these projects, I integrated technological innovations, security elements, the sustainability of the space ecosystem, and the social dimension of the spacecraft to ensure the feasibility of sustaining human life in space, for the hypothetical scenario in which our planet could no longer support our existence.

We earned these distinctions from among more than 1,900 teams in our age category, comprising approximately 5,000 students. We qualified for the national stage by achieving the maximum score in the regional stage two years in a row. At the national stage, we analyzed a complex dataset and presented a comprehensive statistical analysis, based on the specific criteria required. In 2026, we qualified for the international stage, where we had the opportunity to represent Romania by showcasing our country’s statistical characteristics through an interactive video. In the same context, we also had the honor of receiving an award from the National Institute of Statistics for the distinction we brought to our country.

First & Third Prize
I earned these distinctions from among more than 2,600 projects created by approximately 14,000 students. My objective was to develop a research project aimed at supporting plant life in space, as well as creating a sustainable ecosystem. Drawing on technology proposed by space research centers, I succeeded in identifying a feasible approach by utilizing hydroponic and aeroponic technologies.
